Hammerfest Entreprenør is the market leading turnkey construction company within the commercial and public building segments in Hammerfest. The company was established in 2003 and Veidekke acquired a large majority share of the company in 2012.
At the time of the transaction, Veidekke owned 100% of the company. Veidekke is a Scandinavian construction and property development company with revenue of EUR 3.6 billion and 8,600 employees. The company is headquartered in Oslo, Norway. The background for Veidekke’s divestment is a strategic decision within the business unit Building Construction Norway to focus its activity on the markets in and around the larger cities in Norway. Consto is a Norwegian construction company with 900 employees.
