In 2019, the company generated approximately EUR 33.4m in revenues.The Ingino Family has been operating in the fresh chestnut and chestnut market since the 1960s, in just a few years becoming a leader and pioneer in supplies to the large-scale retail trade and developing agreements with chestnut producers in all the major harvesting areas in Italy. IDeA Agro, the private equity fund dedicated to investments in companies in the agricultural sector managed by DeA Capital Alternative Funds SGR S.p.A. has subscribed a EUR 8.5m capital increase in Ingino S.p.A..
With this transaction, IDeA Agro will support the Ingino Family in accelerating the company’s growth, through investments along the entire supply chain, consolidating at the same time its leadership in the Italian and foreign markets.
